Mary Kay Cloney brings clients 28 years of real estate experience - 20 years with ReMax Distinctive - as one of the most respected and trusted residential specialists serving Northern Virginia.
As a service-oriented real estate practice, clients are the heart of Mary Kay Heart Homes. The MKHH business is 90% referrals and repeat business from satisfied home buyers and sellers from all professions and diverse residential needs who are taking on relocation, downsizing, empty nesting, investment property acquisition and estate management, as well as first home buyers - who are often second generation clients.
Mary Kay matches each client to a property that meets their expectations by providing the friendly, professional, customized support homeowners need to make sound decisions in a turbulent market. Mary Kay:
- Is a Washington D.C. native and a life-long Northern Virginia resident
- Is Bilingual in French and English
- Lived in France and Switzerland and attended Swiss public schools and the International School of Geneva
- Graduated from Fairfax County Public Schools, received her BA in French and Education from Ohio Wesleyan University and has a Certificate in French Studies from the Centre Universitaire Meditarranean in Nice
- Studied flute at the Conservatory of Cimiez, France and the Conservatory of Geneva, completed two years of music performance at George Mason University and taught flute to many NVA flutists
- Worked for the Director General of the United Nations, Geneva, Switzerland and as office manager for Aerospatiale in Washington, DC

Michelle Cloney, ASP, IAHSP, acquired her real estate license in 2005 and brings MKHH fifteen years of unique experience as a business owner, professional organizer, and financial journalist, having worked for such companies as Euromoney LLC, NBC News London, The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer and PBS. In 2006, Michelle founded i-organize, LLC to assist others in living less stressful and more enjoyable lives. Michelle is an ASP - Accredited Home Stager and has a certificate in Feng Shui Residential Friendly Design.
Past experience includes Vice President of the Beverly Hills Chapter of Business Network International (BNI), publisher of the National Association of Professional Organizers Los Angeles (NAPOLA) Newsletter, National Organizing Examiner for examiner.com and mentor to Dress for Success Los Angeles where she staged California Closet's makeover for the charity's boutique as previewed on the LA affiliates of FOX, NBC, CBS and ABC.

Gordon Cloney brings MKHH 40 years of cross-cultural negotiating experience and financial service management experience in the U.S. and over 50 countries in Latin America, Europe and Asia while an executive with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, The Inter-American Development Bank, and the CEO of the U.S. International Insurance Council. He has served under the U.S.Department of Commerce and the White House International Trade Office advisory committees and conceived the business principals upon which the World Trade Organization's General Agreement on Trade in Services is based.

Jennifer Toms supports the MKHH team as their full-time Marketing Coordinator. She has been part of their team for over 12 years and is responsible for the design and distribution of most marketing materials including home brochures, ads, and direct mailings. She also does photography for home brochures and virtual tours.
